She travelled with him election weekend of 1968 to Houston, California and Minnesota doing events in all cities and managing the celebrities who travelled with the campaign. Cris also managed Congressman Don Ritter’s first reelection campaign where he won by a landslide and handled all of his events in his home district. In addition to working with other Members of Congress through the years where she was responsible for televised Congressional hearings, scheduling and legislation, she worked for the Senior VP of the Singer Corp. where she flew from DC to CT weekly to manage his office and do all the events for Singer Headquarters. "Cris Bernstein makes the planning, preparation, and execution of a wedding and reception a joyful event for the bride & groom and her parents. Our daughter and her husband were married in Kiawah last October. It was a destination wedding for both families. My daughter and I spent three days with Cris in early spring to make the initial decisions and then had monthly emails and phone discussions with Cris as details were completed. The bride and groom met with Cris in September for two days to do their menu tasting and decide on any finishing touches that needed to be made. When we arrived the week of the wedding everything was in place and there was not a thing for us to worry over. Cris managed the entire weekend for us: from the rehearsal on Friday until our daughter and her husband left on Saturday evening.
